Prepare for Shutdown 关机准备

•Locate all energy sources 找到所有能量源

•Know types and magnitude of energy 了解危害源类型和级别

•Know how to control the various energy types 了解如何控制多样能量类型

•Notify those working in the area affected by the lockout 通知周边工作的受影响员工

Equipment Shutdown 设备关闭

•Shutdown equipment by means of normal stopping procedures 按照正常的关机程序关闭机器设备

Equipment Isolation 隔离设备

•Operate all energy isolating devices so that the equipment is isolated from all energy sources 借助所有能量隔离装置以切断设备所有能量源

Applying LOTO Device(s) 使用上锁挂牌装置

•All isolating devices are to be locked out whenever possible 上锁所有隔离装置

Control/Relieve Stored Energy 控制/释放储存能量

•Dissipate trapped pressure 消除残留压力

•Release spring tension 释放张力

•Block open parts that could fall or move from loss of Pressure 堵塞开放部位

•Dissipate thermal energy or heat 去除热量

Verify Equipment Lockout 验证设备上锁

- Make sure all danger areas are clear 确保所有危害区域被清除

- Use voltmeter or other equipment to confirm disconnection 使用电压表或其它设备以验证能量源断开

- Operate controls on machine to verify disconnection, ALWAYS RETURN CONTROLS TO OFF POSITION AFTER TESTING!!! 操作设备控制器，以验证能量源断开测试后永远复位控制器至“关闭”模式
